Coves From Above

The same shore, a different perspective.  This piece shows Fistral beach on a day where the swell is calm and the body of ocean water is lapping at the rocky coastline.  Sand has been blended into the acrylic paint to build texture for the waves in this piece.  With sand from the beach itself sprinkled over the hues of blue for the ocean water, it creates ashimmering texture across the piece.
